டப்பாக்களி - Dabbaguli (Village near rural Bangalore)

ஓடும் நீர். பறவைகளின் கொஞ்சல் சத்தம். சுற்றிலும் நண்பர்கள். என் அருமை சகோதரன் மற்றும் பெரிய பாறைகளின் உறக்கம். கயாக்யில் (படகு) விளையாடிய போது அலையை கீறிய சத்தம். பேசாமல் இருக்கும் ஒரு அமைதி. இவை எல்லாம் என்னை கவர்கின்றன, நிம்மதியை இயல்பாக தரும் இடம் இது. Water, running as if it knows its the means to an end. The birds crooning love. In the midst of the mist that friends are. The serene slumber of my dear brother, and of the rocks. Scratching the surface of the hurrying water, and its noise during our kayaking escapades. The fountain of peace during moments of silence. .. All of these are of the allure; all of these are baiting me into their realm of peace, and I happily give myself to them! Who knows? Perhaps Mother Nature crafted this as a piece of earth that exists solely, To bestow ones that grace it with peace! அமைதி - Silence

நான் என்னுடன் பேசும் ஒரு அழகான தருனத்தை தந்தவன் நீ. உலகம் தூங்கும் நேரத்தில் தான் நீ விழித்து கொண்டு இருக்கிறாய். வருடம் முழுவதும் உழைத்தாலும் உன்னை நாட விலை இல்லையே நண்பா. நீ எங்கும் இருக்கிறாய், உலகத்தின் பொய் சத்தத்தால் உன் அமைதி சத்தத்தை கேட்க மறக்கிறார்கள். பேச வார்த்தை இல்லை என்று சொல்லும் போதும் நீ தானே பேசுகிறாய். எல்லா உறவிலும் ஏதோ ஒரு நேரத்தில் நீ வந்து செல்கிறாய், ஹோ! அது தான் பிரிவா? இல்லை நீ கொடுக்கும் இடைவேளையா? அமைதியிலும் மதி இருக்கிறதா? You have given me the beautiful capability to talk to my soul. You are wide awake when the world is fast asleep. Dear friend, we work throughout the year only to realize it's priceless to have a piece of you. You are omnipresent, and yet we fail to realize your silent noise amidst all the false noises in the world. You're the one who's speaking when one says that there are no words to explain a complicated emotion. In every relationship, you appear as a guest at one time or another. Alas! Is that the sound of separation?
